DAY 1: Nairobi - Amboseli

Depart Nairobi after breakfast at 8.30am and drive to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is known for having a variety of wildlife. Itís at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro hence giving it a beautiful landscape. Arrive in time for lunch. Take an afternoon game drive in the park.

DAY 2: Amboseli

Start the day early today with a pre-breakfast game drive at 6.30am. Early morning game drives are the best time to view game and this is the time you will most likely be able to view kills as the lions hunt when temperatures are coolest. Return to the lodge by 9.30am in time for breakfast. Visit a local Maasai village after breakfast or spend the later part of the morning at the lodge admiring the breath taking view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. After lunch take an afternoon game drive. This gives you the opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty of the park and more animals such as Lions, Gazelles, Giraffes, Hyenas. Amboseli is best known for its large herds of elephants. Many famous photographs have been taken of elephants with Kilimanjaro as a back drop. Return to the lodge for dinner.

DAY 3: Amboseli - Lake Nakuru National Park

Today you will depart Amboseli to Lake Nakuru to view the flamingoes and one of the worlds biggest bird sanctuary. Depart after an early breakfast at 7am for Lake Nakuru via Nairobi. We will include a packed lunch so that you donít need to stop along the way. Arrive in Nakuru by about 1.30pm and go directly to the game park for your game drive. Discover what Lake Nakuru is renowned for; itís resident white rhino population and flamingoes that paint the lake in pink!

DAY 4:  Lake Nakuru Ė Maasai Mara

Today your African Safari kicks into high gear! Depart Nakuru in the morning for the Maasai Mara. The Maasai Mara is the jewel of Africa in terms of its animal rich wealth and its bird haven.
The Mara is the home to the largest population of lions in Kenya; these magnificent beasts spend most of the day sleeping in the shade of acacia trees. Vast herds of buffalo, Zebra, and wildebeest roam the plains. Impala, gazelle, giraffe and hartebeest grace the landscape, and the cautious topi may also be seen standing sentinel on earth mounds on constant look-out of predators
After your game drive head back to the lodge to freshen up and later enjoy a hearty dinner.

DAY 5: Maasai Mara

Today we recommend taking a full day spent game viewing across (from 0800 1830hrs) the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain's game, black manned lion, leopard and cheetah. It also has numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.
Also, why not witness the annual migration of Wildebeest and Zebra crossing the famous Mara River. Have your packed lunch by the Mara crossing as you see thousands of  Wildebeest and Zebraís fall prey to the crocodile while on the other side of the river await the Lions. This is a world renowned spectacle that is truly breathtaking!!
After a full day game drive return to the lodge.
Tonight we have a special treat for you. You will enjoy a bush dinner under the stars followed by entertainment and dancing from the local Maasai community. Donít be shy to join in on the song and dance!

Day 6: Maasai Mara Ė Nairobi

Start the morning early with a 6.30am game drive followed by breakfast and another mid-morning game drive. Take a leisurely game drive out of the park as you head back to Nairobi.
Arrive into Nairobi at approx 5pm.

Overnight at Hotel in Nairobi

Day 7: Depart

Transfers to the airport for your onward flight home.

Note: This Safari is designed for groups that have a very limited amount of time but want to see the best parks in Kenya. On Day 3 you have a very long drive of approx 7 hours. For those that donít want to take such a long drive we recommend breaking the Safari in Nairobi for one night. This Safari covers the Amboseli Game Reserve which has Mt. Kilimanjaro as the backdrop, The Lake Nakuru National Park which has a resident population of over a million Flamingoes and the world renowned Maasai Mara National Park.
