The rhino is divided into 2 sub-species:the white rhino identified by its squared lips adapted for grazing on grass;and the black rhino,identified by its pointed upper lips that are adapted for browsing.

The rhinocerous has a massive build.It may weigh up to 1.5 tonnes,and stand at an average of 1.8 meters.It has two distinct horns above its mouth cavity.

The lifespan is 45 years.

The rhino is quite fast on its feet, reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h. Itís been known to be one of the most aggressive animals. Mostly, these herbivores live their lives in solitary.
